Jianwei is an accomplished legal professional specializing in business law, with extensive experience across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States and China. Jianwei enjoys the challenge of finding the right solutions for her clients. She represents clients facing personal and business-related claims. This includes helping employers with contract disputes and employee or policies issues. With a focus on general defense litigation, Jianwei’s practice includes employment claims, business tort issues, personal injury claims, insurance issues, and civil and constitutional rights violations.

She began her legal education at East China University of Political Science and Law, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree. Jianwei then pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at University of Southern California, where she also earned a Business Law Certificate. She furthered her education with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Chicago-Kent College of Law, specializing in Business Law. During her time there, Jianwei was recognized on the Dean’s Honor List and received a CALI Award for Legal Writing.

Jianwei worked as a business attorney in China, where she assisted with contracts and litigations for mid-sized and large companies across various industries. Before joining Miller Berger, LLC, Jianwei worked as a tax law attorney where she advised clients on complex tax audit cases and international tax compliance.

Fluent in English and Chinese, Jianwei combines her cross-border legal expertise with strong analytical skills to provide strategic solutions for business and individuals navigating complex legal landscapes.
